Logo design in Halifax and Calderdale

Based in Halifax, working across Calderdale and West Yorkshire. Published prices, everything in writing, and artwork your own sign maker can actually produce from.

Short answer

We design logos and brand identities for small businesses in Halifax, Brighouse, Elland, Sowerby Bridge, Hebden Bridge, Todmorden, Mytholmroyd and Ripponden, and across the wider West Yorkshire area.

Prices are published: £145 for a logo redrawn properly with its full file set, £395 for a complete brand kit, and from £850 for artwork extended across vehicles, signage, workwear and print. We are a design service — you keep your own sign maker, printer or wrapper, and they produce the job from files we prepare to their specification.

Why so much of this work starts with a rejected file

Calderdale is not a service-economy borough. Alongside its shops and cafés it has well over a thousand construction businesses and several hundred manufacturers, most of them very small — the overwhelming majority of businesses in the borough employ fewer than ten people.1

Businesses like that own vans. They buy signage. They order workwear. And that is usually the moment the logo becomes a problem: a mark that has worked perfectly well on a Facebook page for three years gets sent to a sign maker in Halifax or Sowerby Bridge, and comes straight back because it is a 600-pixel PNG rather than vector artwork.

That conversation is where most of our projects begin. It is rarely that the business wanted a rebrand. It is that somebody finally needed a file that worked, and once they were looking at the logo properly they realised it had fallen behind the business.

What we actually do, and what we don’t

We produce artwork. We do not print, supply, install or fit anything, and we take no commission from anyone who does.

That matters locally. Calderdale has a genuinely good set of sign makers, printers, wrappers and embroiderers — in Halifax, Sowerby Bridge, Hebden Bridge and Brighouse. You should keep using whichever one you already trust. Our job is to hand them files they can put straight into production: vector artwork drawn to their template, at their specification, with the fonts outlined and the colours specified for their process.

Nobody is competing with anybody, and you are not locked into us for the next thing you need printing.

Check what you’ve got before you spend anything

Our free file checker opens your logo inside your own browser — nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored — and tells you whether a sign maker could use it as it stands, and the largest size it can safely be produced at. Sometimes the answer is that your file is fine and you don’t need us yet. That is worth knowing before you commit a budget.

What it costs

PriceWhat you get
£145
Logo Files
Your logo redrawn by hand as true vector artwork, with every format and version a supplier asks for — horizontal, stacked and icon-only, full colour, one colour and reversed white, fonts outlined.
£395

All of the above, plus colour and typography properly settled, a one-page guide any supplier can follow, business card and email signature artwork, and social artwork.
From £850
Full Artwork Set
All of the above, plus production artwork for vehicles, signage, workwear, leaflets and banners, each drawn to the template of the supplier producing it.

Anything outside those three — a name change, a second site, a fleet — is quoted on its own as one fixed figure, in writing, before anything starts.

How working with us works

Everything runs in writing. You fill in a short brief, and you get a written reply within one working day setting out the price, exactly what is covered and how long it will take. There are no calls, no meetings and no follow-up sequence, and nothing is charged until you have agreed the figure.

Plenty of people find that easier than the phone. You can read a quote at nine in the evening, forward it to a business partner, and hold it next to your sign maker’s without anyone chasing you.

Where we work

Calderdale: Halifax, Brighouse, Elland, Sowerby Bridge, Hebden Bridge, Mytholmroyd, Todmorden, Ripponden, Luddendenfoot, Northowram, Shelf and the surrounding villages.

Wider West Yorkshire: Huddersfield, Bradford, Keighley, Leeds, Wakefield, Dewsbury and Batley.

Because the work is done in writing and delivered as files, where you are makes no practical difference to how a project runs — but it does mean we know the local suppliers, and we know what a Calderdale sign maker will ask you for.

A note on the figures above

Business counts for Calderdale are drawn from the Office for National Statistics UK Business Counts series, published via Nomis. We have deliberately kept them approximate rather than quoting precise numbers that go out of date. We do not publish invented statistics, client results or testimonials anywhere on this site.

Common questions

Do you need to meet in person?

No, and we do not offer it. Everything runs in writing, which means projects are not held up waiting for a diary slot. If you are used to sitting down with a designer, the brief is designed to gather the same information in about four minutes.

Can you work with my usual sign maker or printer?

That is the intention. We prepare artwork to your supplier\u2019s own template and specification and hand it to you. We take no commission and have no arrangement with any supplier, so you are free to use whoever you like.

Do you only work with businesses in Calderdale?

No. We are based in Halifax and most of our work is Calderdale and West Yorkshire, but the process is the same wherever you are, because everything is written and delivered as files.

My logo came from Canva or an AI tool. Can you still work with it?

Yes, provided you have the right to use the design. These are now the most common starting points. We will flag any ownership or originality concern before starting rather than after.

How quickly can it be done?

Once a brief is in, you get a price and a timescale within one working day. Turnaround depends on scope and what artwork already exists. If you have a fixed deadline \u2014 a van booked in, a shop opening \u2014 say so in the brief and you will get a straight yes or no rather than an optimistic maybe.

Tell us about the business.

A short written brief, a fixed price back within one working day, and no obligation either way.
